AI Competence Package: Future-proof qualification for healthcare professionals

Our 7-part course series “AI in Medicine” provides practical knowledge about the opportunities, limitations, and responsible use of artificial intelligence in everyday clinical practice.

The content is designed to meet the AI competency requirements set out in Article 4 of the EU AI Act. This ensures that doctors and other healthcare professionals are optimally prepared to use modern AI tools such as Prof. Valmed®.

🔹 Courses 1–5 (including CME certification): Fundamentals of AI in medicine: how it works, data quality, bias & fairness, legal framework.

🔹 Course 6: AI: between innovation and responsibility: ethics, safety, and balance between progress and patient protection.

🔹 Course 7: AI in healthcare: practical application & compliance: safe and legally compliant use of AI in everyday treatment.

From August 2, 2026, these skills will be mandatory for anyone using AI-supported systems in patient care, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2024/1689.
