Overview

In today's dynamic medical landscape, a sound understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) is crucial for neurologists. After all, the various AI technologies offer a wide range of applications, from diagnostic support to personalized medicine, and thus have the potential to revolutionize neurological care.

This course offers you a comprehensive and practice-oriented introduction to the application of AI in neurology and prepares you for the challenges and opportunities of this exciting field.

An in-depth knowledge of how AI works is important to enable neurologists to confidently use innovative approaches to imaging interpretation and data analysis to develop more accurate diagnoses and customized treatment plans for their patients. Equally relevant are the ethical and data protection issues associated with the use of AI in clinical practice. In addition, neurologists should be aware of current and future developments in AI-assisted neuroscience research, particularly in the field of neuroimmunology.

This course covers these and other exciting topics in the 3 modules "Artificial intelligence in neuroscientific research", "Optimisation of prognosis and treatment by artificial intelligence" and "Artificial intelligence in neuroimmunology".
